Cub and Kit story

This is a story set in the Cub and Kit universe (Mag7/Sentinel crossover with a young Vin (10 maybe?) being a Sentinel and Ezra (12 or 13) being his Guide.) Anyway, in this story, for some reason, Chris (Vin and Ezra's foster father) can't take Vin on a school field trip, so Blair Sandburg goes with him, instead. Of course, there are bad guys about (don't remember what they're doing), so Blair has to help Vin use his senses in order for them to escape. Ring any bells?
