okay loooking for two stories; one Adam is alive but they don't recognize him when he arrives in Four Corner, they think he's a spoiled brat, until Ezra realizes he's been abused and takes care of Kit/Kat, he finds out who he is and tells Chris, and well Ella kidnaps Adam, the seven go after him, Chris pulls a gun on Ezra, and Ez tells him he would have followed him to hell.... second one is Chris and Ezra pull off this con to get Fowler. Ezra tells Jook Steele that Chris is a drunk who shoots up the town looking for Fowler...Fowler shows up...Ezra is forced to kill him to save his own life, and apologies to Chris who punches him for apologizing to save his own life... (found)

wondering if stories exist

Awhile ago I ran across an interesting AU story by Michelle Naylor titled Wild Cards, with an unusual premise.  In her introduction she mentions the story was a challenge response, and implies there were other responses.

The plot premise (and the challenge) was that the main characters were placed in suspended animation after the series cancellation and the writers had to break them out.  Ms. Naylor choose to right about Ezra's rescue.  Is anyone else aware of other responses to this challenge, maybe Chris and Vin's rescues?
