I'm looking for a fic. I remember it's at least 2 parts. The boys are captured and hurt pretty bad, but still escape. They head to the Wells ranch. I think Josiah is the only one not injured. Ezra is hurt the worst, but I don't remember how. I seem to remember Nettie a letter in Ezra's coat when she tries to wash it. The boys are afraid they lead the bad guys to the Wells ranch, but they couldn't go further. I think Vin road out to get help (though he was hurt) and pissed off Chris by doing so. I don't know if the baddies every attacked the ranch though.
