missing chris/ezra

This is the first time I have done this. But I have found that you all are really helpful. I have lost a fic. Can someone help? I was positive I found it through this site and pretty sure it was on livejournal.

What I remember is this:
It was an AU and WIP. Ezra was "blind" but not really. His eyes were all green and he was a judge or something. Vin was from the same place and rescued Ezra from a merchant. Chris was a solider/leader and Vin was a scout for him.

Any help would be welcomed. I have been looking forever.

I'm looking for a story where Josiah in injuried (if I hadn't mixed up stories, he had been captured by indians because he killed the brother of someone who raped a girl)  and Ezra sits by his side and tells stories to him, and apparently always the same time because the rest of the seven gather under the window and everything to hear the story, he even retold a story replacing it with them or something similar *found* 

oh and second story, though more for curiousity is Vin needs to make a shot to save Chris but he can't because Ezra's in the way, and for a moment he was thinking about shooting though him *found*

Looking for the best Mag7 / zines

I am looking for some great Mag7 / zines. While I love, love, love reading stories on-line, I want to be able carry them around w/me. A zine would be perfect. I don't mind short stories but am really looking for some great novellas or novels, if at all possible. As a new fan, I'm in love with Ezra/Vin but haven't found a pairing I don't enjoy so give me your favorite, the one you re-read like a guilty pleasure. I'm a OW fan more than modern or AU but if the story is good enough, I'd love to try it.

Oh, as long as I have your attention, does anyone know where Auburn's M7 / fic is? It seems my link takes me to the SGA fic only. Not a bad thing (G) mind you, I love reading it and she's got some incredibly long stargate fics I've never seen there - wow -but I'm in the mood for the boys.
