There is a snippet from a story that is driving me mad. Ezra has been injured. He Nathan and Josiah are in the clinic Josiah is holding Ezras hand, as Ezra comes around he moans and gasps in great pain Josiah rocks back and forth clasping Ezra,s hand as Nathan begs Ezra to tell him where the pain is. Finaly Ezra manages to wail ma hand ma hand is breaking! Nathan sits back in disbelief as Josiah sheepishly lets go of Ezras hand. Nathan asks Ezra if he is hurt anywhere else as Ezra pouts and holds out his hand as if Nathan can fix his paw and asked Nathan how he could have allowed Josiah to maul him in such a fashion didn't he know his hands were his livelyhood.
I am laughing at this little memory in my head but am dying to read it as the author intended. It was a wonderfull piece of writing.
